On 29 April 2006, nineteen Edo sons and daughters met in Accra with one shared desire — unity, love and cooperation among all Edo people residing in Ghana. Twenty years on, that promise is a family.

We descend from one of Africa's most celebrated civilizations — a royal dynasty of more than eight hundred years, bronze-casters whose art stunned the world, and walls counted among the greatest earthworks ever raised.
Edo, Esan, Afemai, Owan, Akoko-Edo — in Ghana, we are one people under one roof, and our heritage is not a memory. It is an inheritance we live, teach and celebrate.
